Mold Remediation

Mold and mildew can have devastating effects not only to the structure in which it grows but also on the health and well-being of the individuals exposed to spores. Mold can grow anywhere moisture persists – including kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, behind walls or cupboards, and inside closets. Causes include inadequate ventilation, high humidity levels, a leaky roof, or flooding. If not treated immediately, mold can permanently damage the internal structure and contents of homes and buildings and result in a total loss of personal property.

Remediation process
  • Containment
  • Removal of contaminated materials
  • Hand-washing with EPA-registered disinfectant, sanitizer, cleaner
  • HVAC system cleaning
  • Clearance testing – Lab testing done by indoor hygienists and independent laboratories not associated with Delta
